About Us

Fiorella Flowers was opened in 1987 by Anna Fiorella, who came to Brooklyn from a village outside Bari, Italy and started selling flowers from a cart on Court Street. A few years later she rented the little shop at 418 Court Street and it has been our home ever since.

Today the shop is run by Anna's daughter Rosa and Rosa's daughter Gina. Three generations of women, one little shop! Rosa has been arranging flowers for more than 30 years. Gina went to floral design school in Manhattan and takes care of our weddings and events.

We go to the flower market in Manhattan three mornings a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) so our flowers are always fresh. We use local growers from New York and New Jersey in the summer.

We know many of our customers by name. We did their wedding flowers and now we do their kids' birthday flowers! Thank you to our wonderful neighbors for 25 years of support.
